How does HiAnon work?
You generate an anonymous email address in just a few clicks through the HiAnon web interface.
All mail sent to that address is forwarded directly to your real inbox, without the sender ever knowing your real address.
You can deactivate, delete, or reconfigure any address at any time.
Do I need to create an account?
No.
Your account is set up automatically for you after your order.
You'll then receive your initial login details by email and can sign in right away.
All login details and account information are processed in compliance with data protection regulations.

What's the difference between HiAnon and AnonAddy?
HiAnon is technically built entirely on the open-source project AnonAddy.
The service itself hasn't been functionally changed, instead it gives you a hosted, ready-to-use instance with a German-language interface, integration into the Host-Honest ecosystem, and direct support.
We place great importance on transparency: no additional features have been developed at this time.
Instead, we focus on stable operation, data protection, ease of use, and fairly supporting the original project financially through regular donations from subscription revenue.
Are my emails stored?
No.
HiAnon does not permanently store any emails.
Incoming messages are only processed briefly and immediately forwarded to your real email inbox.
Local viewing, archiving, or IMAP access is not possible.
HiAnon is deliberately not designed as a full email server, but purely as a forwarding service to protect your real address.
Is HiAnon GDPR compliant?
Yes.
HiAnon is operated under the highest data protection standards.
All data is processed exclusively on servers in Germany.
You can request information about your stored data or delete your account entirely at any time.
